Research Interests: I am interested in studying the effects of stigma on psychological and physical well-being. Most of my research has focused on the experiences of lesbians, gay men, and bisexuals. However, I am interested in other stigmatized populations including HIV-positive individuals, overweight individuals, and ethnic minorities.

In addition, I sometimes wear the hat of a sport psychologist. I am currently conducting research on sport commitment with Titan athletes and exercise motivation among Fullerton students.
